Mr. James Curtis Evans,83

James Curtis Evans, son of the late James GhermanEvans and Nettie Jane Evans was called to eternal rest on Wednesday September 14, 2022.

James was employed by the City of Long Branch Department of Public Works as a supervisor for over thirty years, from 1980 until 2011.

James was preceded in death by his father, James Gherman Evans; mother, Nettie Jane Evans; two brothers, Sam Mills and Bonnie Mills; two sisters, Gladys Thickpen and Ruby Hazel Wallace; one brother-in-law, Roy Wallace.

James leaves to cherish her memory his wife, Daisy Evans; two daughters, Alicia Evans and Theresa Lynn Dangler son-in-law Billy; one brother-in-law, Ernest Roach one sister-in-law Easter; three granddaughters, Tiffinee Otey, Jennifer Otey and Ashley Evans; three grandsons, Joshua Adkins, Gregory Otey and Jason Dangler; eight great-grandchildren, Tahirha Accoo, Iyana Turner, Keyshon Otey, Sania Turner, Kaliyah Morgan, Anycia Otey, Julian Otey, and Khole Evans; three God-children, Melissa Accoo, Ozlen Williams and Phatema Jones; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 21st, 2022 at 10:00am at Selvia Chapel FWB located at 400 Wautaga Ave, Greenville N.C. 27834.
