William Earl Pittman, age 71, of Princeville, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 18, 2025. He was born on October 2, 1954, to the late Earline Williams Pittman and the late Frank Junior Pittman.
William received his education in the Martin County School System and was a proud graduate of East-End High School in Robersonville, North Carolina. He was employed for many years at West Point Pepperell in Hamilton, North Carolina. After his retirement, William remained active in the workforce, working with AutoZone, Almanac Knit Fabrics Inc., and later at 252 Vape & Smoke Shop in Tarboro, North Carolina.
William was known for his kind and friendly spirit and was well respected by all who knew him. His life was marked by compassion, humility, and a deep love for his family and friends. Although he has transitioned from this earthly life, his memory will forever be cherished.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his brother, Willie Junior Pittman, and his son, Mitchell Young.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his children: Peter Young of Princeville, NC; William Pittman of Waterbury, CT; Frank Pittman of Princeville, NC; Joshua Pittman of Robersonville, NC; Jaheim S. Pittman, Raquan T. Pittman, Taquan L. Pittman, all of Princeville, NC; and Takara D. Miller of Princeville, NC. He is also survived by his sisters, Annie Pittman Brown and Dorothy Pittman of Hamilton, NC, and Alice Pittman of Williamston, NC, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
William Earl Pittman's legacy of kindness, love, and respect will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
