Scottie Junior Lloyd, 56, was born November 30, 1966 and he departed his life on Monday, July 10, 2023 at ECU Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Lee Lloyd and his mother, Fannie Bell Johnson.

Scottie never met a stranger and he definitely didn't mind helping anyone. He loved his family unconditionally especially his kids and grandkids. They meant the world to him. Scottie definitely will be missed. He touched the hearts of many people.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers, Dennis Lloyd of the home and Randy Lloyd of Rocky Mount, NC; two sisters, Denise Williams and Evelyn Howard (Alton) of Rocky Mount, NC; three sons, Derek Ethridge, Tae'Von Lynch and Zy'Quavion Lloyd all of Rocky Mount, NC; six daughters, ScotissceaHyman of Georgia, Scottalicia Lloyd, Lawanna Newkirk, Quanshae Lloyd, Zporia Lloyd and QrionaLloyd of Rocky Mount, NC; a special best friend, his nephew, Michael Wax of Rocky Mount, NC; a special uncle, Larry Lloyd of Rocky Mount, NC; a special host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 21st, 2023 at 1:00 pm at St. Marks AME Church located at 1150 Tarboro St. Rocky Mount , N.C. 27801. Viewing one hour prior to the service.
