Ronita Annette Jenkins me to be with the Lord on Friday, January 24,2025. Born in Greenville, North Carolina on February 16, 1957 to Joyce Jenkins, she was a resident of  Greenville for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ada C. and Milton Jenkins; uncles Milton, Jr. and Roosevelt Jenkins; and an aunt Mildred Whichard.

Ronita gave her life to Christ. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board until her health declined.

Ronita attended St. Gabriel Elementary School, E. B. Aycock Middle School, and graduated from J. H. Rose High School in 1976.

Ronita had a variety of jobs during her lifetime. Among them, she was employed by National Spinning in Washington, North Carolina. After leaving National Spinning, she lived in Maryland, California and Washington, DC. She returned home in 1999.Ronita loved to cook and bake for her family gatherings. She   really enjoyed celebrating her birthdays and making sure her family members were in attendance to help her celebrate.

She was a loving a devoted daughter and sister. She leaves to cherish her memory; her mother Joyce Jenkins, Greenville, NC; one sister, Veronica A. Jenkins, Greenville, NC; one aunt, Ruby Jenkins, Greenville, NC; one uncle, John H, Jenkins, California;  3 nieces, Fantasia Pratt, Georgia; Marquita Cooper, Greenville; Brittany Hasting, Greenville; 1 nephew, Dorian Pratt, Wilson; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
