Peggy Ann Darden entered onto eternal rest on April 11,2024 at Southern Living/Care One Assisted Living Facility in Greenville, North Carolina.

Peggy Ann Darden was born in Greene County, North Carolina. She went to Jones High School in Trenton, North Carolina. She settled in Boston, Massachusetts for quite awhile and was a black panther supporter. She later moved down to Orlando, Florida where she was very active in the AMVETS Post 30, American Legion and VFW. Her final move was back to the place she loved, North Carolina.

Peggy Ann Darden was preceded in death by her mother Frances E. Darden, Brother Henry L. Darden Jr., Sister Mary E. Jones, Grandson Elijah E. Chapman.

Peggy Ann Darden leaves to cherish her loving memories : Two daughters Frances A. Barnett and Kim M. Chapman. Three sons Richard H. Duarte, Anthony D. Mitchell and Troy E. Mitchell. Six Grandchildren DeVon J. Duarte, Chantel M. White, Markel Mitchell, Imani Chapman, Jecenia Wynn and Ebony Chapman. Two Great Grandchildren Haki J. Duarte and Katsumi C. Duarte. Two sisters Shirley Nicolas and Nancy Raynor.
