John 14:27 reads, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."

Mitchel Young made entry to his heavenly home on May 27, 2025 at the age of 51.

Mitchel is survived by his parents; Curtis Murphy of Princeville NC and Loretta Young Morning of Robersonville NC.  Mitchel was born on March 20 1974.  He attended Tarboro High School.

Mitchel was savvy with hands, and eager to assist anyone he encountered.  His unique character gained him employment at Bridger's Store in Princeville NC. Mitchel was known to be the "jack of all trades" a true handyman. No task appeared to be a challenge for him whether it was big or small.  He often chose to take on unwanted or difficult projects.

Mitchel was a devoted son, brother, and friend.  He leaves to cherish his memories: to his son Zy' Keith Joyner, his parents, Loretta Young Morning and Curtis Murphy, 6 brothers; Peter Young of Princeville NC, William Pittman of Waterbury CT, Frank Pittman of Princeville NC, Joshua Pittman of Robersonville NC, Kenneth Barnes of Princeville NC, and Curtis L. Murphy of Rocky Mt NC, and 1 sister, Felecia White of Tarboro NC,  Special Friend Lisa Station of Tarboro NC, 8 aunts, 4 uncles  and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

We LOVE YOU Mitchel! Life allowed us to Love on you in our own special way. In death we will all do the same.  You will forever be that special person we carry in our hearts. Tears will fall because WE LOVE YOU! Grief definitely stings yet WE LOVE YOU! You've gained your wings so fly high, WE LOVE YOU! We will forever cherish your place in our lives. WE LOVE YOU Son! WE LOVE YOU Brother! WE LOVE YOU Uncle! WE LOVE YOU Nephew! WE LOVE YOU Cousin! WE LOVE YOU Friend! MITCHEL YOUR LOVE will never be forgotten! We LOVE YOU ALWAYS & FOREVER!
